Lychees grow quite well in cold areas and need lots of water although not flooding.

The highlands with an altitude of more than 700 m above sea level are one of the areas suited to growing lychees.
The nice air temperature is just about 9-19 degrees Celsius during the rainy season and around 25-33 degrees Celsius through the dry season.
